El Roi
As a believer in Christ since July 21, 1986, I have learned that the key to receiving answered prayers from our Lord Jesus is to obey His Word, maintain quiet quality time with HIM by reading the Holy Scriptures on a daily basis, approach (pray to HIM) His Throne Room 1st, not as a last resort when you are facing difficult times, and always pray His Word over you and your loved ones.
God’s Word is Living and Alive-(KJV):
“Hebrews 4:12 declares that “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Most importantly, individuals should remember that our Most High God looks/pierces deeply into every human being. For simplicity’s sake God’s Awesome Holy Power is akin to a “Magnetic resonance imaging” (MRI) with 100 million X Trillion in Power!! or 100 x 1012.

◄ 1 Samuel 16:7 ► New King James Version But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” |
The Bottom Line is that you cannot fool God Almighty; HE knows and Sees everything. God desires a genuine relationship with you, and as one of His children, we are called to obey humbly and to come to Him in love and reverence. Our Most High God (God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit) is NOT your personal “genie in a bottle” only to be pulled off a shelf when you NEED a prayer breakthrough! Also, answers to your prayers will align with His Word and His Will, your “partial obedience” is disobedience in His Eyesight which results in unanswered prayer requests.
The God Who Sees Me
AUGUST 4, 2020
“‘You are the God who sees me.’ She also said, ‘Have I truly seen the One who sees me?’” Genesis 16:13b (NLT)
“I received the long text and read it slowly. Then I read it again. She accused me of saying things I never said. She assumed words I’d written on social media were about her when they weren’t.
I sat stunned.
She didn’t want to meet or talk it out. She was ending our friendship completely and asking me to never contact her again.
A cry of injustice rose inside of me. I felt misunderstood. While I wanted to call a friend to “vent,” I knew I needed to allow some time to pass before doing something that would likely fall into the gossip category.
“Do you see this, God?” I muttered aloud as I sat in my van in the school parking lot waiting for my daughter. I knew the answer. His name is El Roi, the God who sees me.”
